Well, I've got a start. Now that it's May, I'm really focusing on quitting smoking, and man, it's more painful than I anticipated. There was the morning smoke when I woke up, the one walking to the bus, the two as my breaks during the day, one on the way home, and then whatever I smoked at home. It's strange to list it out, but it explains how basically I ended up smoking about a pack every two days.

I have as my example my friend who, though younger than me, has taken the initiative and quit for over a month. She says there are no more cravings, and I believe it after that amount of time (or at least not on a regular basis), but today I had a cig that I bummed off of someone, and halfway through I was thinking "Why?" Maybe it's a turning point. I hope so! I need quite a few changes, and this is #1.
