I had a brief relapse but I think I might be okay today, so I might actually have one healthy day in the New Year. Small steps I suppose but I'd also better get used to it. I never had a strong immune system and now I'm basically borderline immuno-compromised so it is what it is.

I'm thinking of looking for another job, which is a HUGE shift from where I was even a month ago. Maybe I can sell myself in a different way for something where I'm guiding developers to create a useful database. It could happen but it's a long shot and I know it. In short, there is progress. I'm exhausted still but there might be options available.

And now I have the "regular" flu which I probably caught because I was weakened by the stomach flu. In short I have officially been sick this entire year so far. Fever topped out around 103 today and the cough is impressive but I'm hoping to just wait it out.

This sucks.

Sorry I haven't posted. I caught a vicious stomach flu that had me working from home in between puking so tomorrow it's my golden opportunity to actually make it to Brooklyn in person. Pretty sure I'm not going to pass out and the commute's ironically easier than it is in Manhattan so thank god for that. A friend stopped by with soup, Pedialyte, and Ensure which has made all the difference - thank you :)! I'll let y'all know how it goes.
